The BCM7251SUPKFSBB  is a set-top box (STB), colloquially known as a cable box and historically known as a television decoder.

The BCM7251SUPKFSBB has a programmable audio decoder. There are different digital to analog converters in the BCM7251SUPKFSBB unit. The different converters are six video DACs (Digital to analog converters) and a stereo high-fidelity audio DAC. The BCM7251SUPKFSBB offers a highly optimized level of single-chip system performance making it ideal for many STB (Set-top box) applications.
